I am sitting here writing this post while my Irobot is
is vacuming my house. A chore I hate and am willingly
delegating to it. It keeps filling up with dog fur on
it's first journey but it does a far better job than
the Kirby that I used to lug around. I need to name it.
Needless to say, it makes Rex very nervous.
The weather here is beautiful and the knockout roses are
in bloom. I love them because we can have cut flowers
all summer and the back yard is a riot of blooms, all
pink and red.
My daughter's birthday is Sunday and she is coming home
to spend it with us. We don't have much mother daughter
time because she is working and caring for her severely
autistic son. He is in his twenties now and ever more
difficult to handle.
The twins are back in business and taking care of the
mowing. I enjoy them so much, they are fine children
and all the praise goes to their Mom and Dad. Sort of
unusual to find a work ethic in thirteen year olds.
Any teacher will tell you that middle school kids are
the worst!
Bobby is not feeling really well but hopefully the
medicine will take care of the tachacardyia until
his body is free of the chemo. I think radiation is the
next step.
May is such a busy month and I am having two events here,
a meeting of the investment club and a family potluck
dinner with my neices and nephews and my sister as well
as my kids. There are three band concerts and a band
banquet to attend as well.
I had a long phone conversation with Sue, known here
as Susil or Sky Blue. She has literally rehabilitated
herself and can manage independently. She bought a
Toyota Yaris and goes where she needs to go. It is very
cute and bright red. Even though she is still in a
wheelchair, the only help she needs is getting a pedicure.
I didn't know that the robo-vacs had been perfected. Used to be that they couldn't do corners. Sounds like you're having a good spring, all things considered. Rock on!
