Circumstances play funny tricks on a person. Who would
ever believe that I would grow to care for my exhusband's
wife and that we could be fond of each other. She loves
Bobby and is trying so hard to be supportive. She brings
fancy groceries to tempt his appetite and sometimes we
cry together, just never in front of him.

Ted and I put off a horrible job until this afternoon. We
cleaned and degreased the smoker to get ready to do some
turkey for Christmas. I don't know if Linda will get
here this weekend or the next. I have my presents ready
to go.

Laura knitted me a pretty, lacy gray scarf for Christmas
and I got it yesterday. It is two shades of gray and
just what I brazenly requested.

I watched the new Woody Allen movie and loved it. It would require a background in literature to really appreciate it. I thought the Earnest Hemingway character
was a masterpiece.

Adrienne is second runner up to the football queen so I
am sitting with Bobby this evening so Ellie can go and
take pictures. She certainly has had a great year.
