The Mice Wars

I may be winning if I can stay ahead of their reproductive rate.
Traps did not work for me, nor did they work for my neighbor he has also been invaded. However, I have found that they love chocolate and that love leads them to their demise when the chocolate chips are sprinkled with poison. I know I sound like Evila Cruel but I hate these nasty little pests with a passion.

Thanksgiving was wonderful but oh so exhausting. My feet felt like they were going to fall off the day before when I did so much cooking.

I went to a neighborhood come and go after we got home from my sisters and enjoyed it immensely They served deep fried turkey and dressing and all the fixings. It was fun to see friends that I had not seen in a while.

Ted and I need a winter break and we have been discussing where to go and with whom. It will have to b e a short one because the season is closing in on us.

I always enjoy buying presents for my grandaughter in addition to giving them cash. I buy them the same things to promote closer cousin hood. This year I am giving them identical sterling silver bracelets. I hope they always keep each other in their lives.

May your pursuit of the holiday be Joyous!

When I was little, my childhood home faced a large meadow, and every now and then, a field mouse would get in the house. We had a dachshund who would find it in nothing flat. We usually figured a way to live trap it or get it to run outside a door.

We had a daschund too and he was an avid mouser. He never allowed them to escape. My mother screamed if she saw one and he came running and always caught them. I am conditioned to scream if I see one. Fritz was never merciful to rodents.

my smallest cat is the mouser of the house. she kills them and the dog brings them to me, usually on my bed!

I could do without those kinds of presents!

LOL You really don't like the lil buggers!

Hate them. Their must be a whole colony. I have large wafers of poison out where Jose won't come in contact with them and they ate a whole quarter of the one I had under the fridge.

Had mice in NY. We got them with traps. Jay kept score on a paper posted on a support beam. Guy who came to read the meter, kept staring at it ... Stantons 9, mice zero.

So far it is Hinkles ll Mice 0. I hate them with a passion and I have a big pantry that has to be cleaned with bleach. You never know when you have gotten all of them. However, we got an especially bold one last night with a trap.

We placed the Hotel California under the kitchen sink and have had seven or eight guests. With an outside temp of -17F the other night, I think the war is over. Unless, of course, the buggers do incest.

Of course they do incest!! Nasty little beasts. They flaunt themselves right in front of me but I got the boldest one in a trap last night.

Come to DC! Although it may be too chaotic for you. Haha
We actually discovered we have mice again too. I find it strange because Lebowski has caught them outside before, but why is he slacking on the inside?!?!?
I hope we both get relief from the ultimate turd gifters.

I hear chihuahuas are good mousers which cancels out my belief that Jose is half chihuahua. He could care less. My neighbor fosters dogs and she says the chihuahuas catch and eat them. Shame on Lebowski.
