Losing Weight, Sleeping with Rex and Fashion.

I can only lose weight on a limited carb diet. I have
had an ll pound loss in the last month. It is getting
easier and I hope to lose ten more pounds. It is so nice
to be getting back into my clothes which was my motivating
factor.

Rex has been diving in and out of bed and interrupting my
sleep. grr!

I agree with Teal. We have too much bare flesh on display
and too little classical fashion. I like a little pizass
but think that revealing too much is a mistake. Where is
the allure and the mystery? I fail to find sleeveless
dresses attractive. I am a fan of pretty. I have been
searching for a white cotton shift with sleeves, midi
length that looks good with sandals. A dress you can
grab and go and still look summery and put together,
preferably with ruffles and feminine looking. I am sooo
out of luck on this. Once I had a denim shift that worked
but too many pregnant girls borrowed it and wore it out.

I love the little black dress. It is fail proof.

I continue to use Mendacious Thoguhts' (remember him from Blogster?) weight loss biofeedback program. It keeps me honest and I now weigh 106-7. If you want to review it, I'll post it.

I have it on my computer too but it would require searching for a long
time. Please post it because John and I need it.

I'm picturing your white dress with a big hat. So often it seems to be clothes that help us lose weight. I'm still working on it, and I dream of being able to wear a bandage dress.

A bandage dress is beyond my wildest dreams. I hope you get there.
The journey is doable.

I'm trying to stretch my pants with a version of intermittent fasting (reduction) which I may or may not have already blogged about. But if I don't remember I don't suspect that anyone else does either. Anyway, it seems to be working very slowly which is fine. The idea is to cut calories without signaling to the metabolism that the food supply is in short supply. All my pants are the same size and I'll be in it deep if I can't close any of them.

Good luck. I cheat and have a slice of bread now and then. I think you
reach a plateau and have to reassure your body that you are not starving.
The new Dr. Atkins allows a few carbs and it makes a lot of difference
in how you feel. I dream of coconut pie.

I would die without carbs. I adore them! Good luck on your weight loss journey... And finding what you are seeking fashion wise!

I love carbs too but sugar is my downfall. It is like being an alcoholic. However, after a few weeks the craving subsides a little.
