I had 24 for noon dinner today and I am beyond tired. My
sister and I cooked way too much food and the kids brought
side dishes. We sent every one home with left overs and it
took me two hours to get the house presentable again.
The kids were funny and my little third cousin, Penelope is
two. She has a head full of curls and is tiny and delicate
looking but she is a handful. She jumped in Ted's lap and
wanted to drive his wheelchair, got into the shredder and
scattered paper and demanded hugs from everyone present.
It is nice to have it all over and Joan gets to do it next
year at her house.
Bobby was exhausted and went home early but it was a pleasure
to see him enjoying his sister and his cousins so much. I am
wondering if next time we just couldn't order pizza or Chinese. The fun is in all of us being together.
