Bobby will get the results of his latest scan this morning.
Ellie was taking the day off to go to the oncologist with
him. I am not optimistic.

This is a frantically busy time for the grand daughters.
Homecoming games, driving lessons and band keep them very
busy. I would like to watch the parade but we never know
what time it will be. The route is not close to my house.
They like to go by the business district because they are
pelted with candy.

I have e mailed my Congressman twice and of course it does
no good. I got a sweet letter from the failed Democratic
candidate for Governor last year. He detailed all the negatives about the old dino who has been in office forever.
I have no hope of this Senator ever losing an election in Oklahoma.

We have had two days of rain and chilly weather. I started
chicken soup this morning, thinking it would be comforting
on this wet, gray day. I need some good weather to mulch
all of the roses.

I have my fingers crossed.
