Yesterday was one of those days in autumn when it is sunny
but cool enough to enjoy being outside. It was somewhat
hectic because the homecoming parade was at one and I
had agreed to walk our neighborhood block party posters
door to door for four blocks on both sides of the street.
When I finished with the posters, I went in to Phyllis's
house and she had prepared a light breakfast for us.
It was fun talking to neighbors that I had not met before
and I enjoy being with Phyllis a lot.

Bobby and I went to the parade together and we got some
good pictures of Adrienne. She looked pretty and her
pictures are on my face book page. It was a joy being
with Bobby and I was so glad he had the strength to manage
being present at her moment of recognition.

The time I get to spend with Bobby is so precious to me.
Family is so important, especially when you are old but
friends are treasure too.
