This little dog is high maintenance. I never knew the
little ones were so fragile or maybe it is just his
particular breed. So far we have spent four hundred dollars in vet bills and have not addressed his psychological problem.

About once a week, he wakes us up trying to get as close
to us as possible. He lays on top of us and licks us to
death. Sometimes he hurls his little body at us. We
can soothe him with petting and cuddles. His former
mistress died and I think he must have been in the house
with her when it happened and he wants to be sure that
we have not met with the same fate. Ted covers up his
head and ignores the bombardment but I usually end up
with him sleeping in my arms.

He is a fun, sweet lovable little guy. It is almost like
having a cat which I can't have because of family members who are highly allergic.

Adrienne has the worst cat allergies. By the way, she is
coming for lunch today. She doesn't go back to school
until next week. We are having her favorites, roast beef
and coconut pie.
