It is so great to have Laura here with us. She isn't sleeping well but hopefully she can have a nap this afternoon. The
snow in Kansas is worrisome and I think she will be driving
home through Amarillo.

We are slowly slogging our way through lemon lush. It is
definitely better the second day and really needs to be
made a day ahead.

Laura made a spinach and strawberry salad last night that
was very good. We had been to Chillenos at noon for Tex
Mex and were still a little stuffed.

After repeated trips to try to get me to come to bed, Rex
gave up and joined us. He remembered Laura and greeted her
at the door when she arrived. I am an early riser and Rex
comes and gets me when Ted drags himself out of bed. Laura
brought him Pet Wipes and he enjoys them. Such a spoiled
creature!!
