Peering Binocularly

"Peer he binocularly never so neck-breakingly." -- this line from the novel A Taste Of Honey pretty well describes how it is for me accessing MyBloggers on the phone. I think i'll go blind after this.

My suspicion on the access problem some but not that many here are experiencing has to do with mybloggers's new server, since that is precisely when the problem began: Most of you got the site back when it was replaced and running.

I think they haven't set up this server right. There are a lot of odd problems that can occur when moving to a different server.

I am as mysteriously back on mybloggers as mysteriously as I was gone. Maybe the problems are gradually being fixed.

I think everyone is fixing on their own what shouldn't have been a problem in the first place, but I don't know. Hope your access stays on.

Your quote convinces me I made the right decision in never reading this book. If I want convoluted, I'll read Ulysses. Sorry you are having problems. I find not getting notices in my E mail is a big inconvenience. Hope it all works itself out soon.

Oh, no -- it's a wonderful book, the one by Heard. I've got the title wrong. It's A Taste For Honey. No weird Ulysses language in it, that was an ironic quote by the narrator.

I agree it sounds like a config problem at the MyBloggers server. It seemed like my access problem was resolved by resetting my DSL modem; I saw an article that said to do that in order to get a new IP number assigned to my connection in case the destination server was blocking my old IP address accidentally. Seems like it's always something any more. Hope everything is going well with you. We've got a kingfisher (bird) out on the river today doing some fishing.

Which novel of "A Taste of Honey"--the one about a white girl getting pregnant by a black man? Made into a movie?

That's funny. Nope I have the title wrong -- A Taste FOR Honey, and it's a murder mystery about a guy who buys honey and honeycombs out in the country.
