PITTSBURGH/9-3-14 Lately I seem to keep running across webpages with articles that do not have a date -- even news stories -- and have no dateline either when it's a news site. So you have no idea what city the described event occurred in, or when. News sites don't bother putting a city across their head, either. Maybe on the page title, if you're lucky.
Some are TV station news, like WPXI.com, which is a Pittsburgh station and most people here recognize it. But it links with other stations' news, and when you read those you don't always know where the heck they're talking about.
There was a Bob Vila article I opened when searching for something garden-related, and got an article telling me NOW was the perfect time to start seeds indoors so I'd have seedlings ready in a few weeks. No date. It could have been put up yesterday for all I knew.
Very puzzling. This is just internet laziness, and the media should start straightening up their act. (I put the date here because I can't remember if this blog automatically dates its posts.) .. It does! Good.
