Again, Snow

In one day, the temperature went from low 50s to 20 degrees. The yards were bare of snow or ice.

Then this fell:

I am procrastinating, sitting here, instead of shoveling. Really don't feel like it, but I guess soon I have to if I intend to go anywhere. At least the sun's out, softening up the top. Or more likely it's hardening everything into a solid icy mass. Ugh.

Nothing blew away, but at least the snow was kind of dry and powdery. Not so bad.

In Colorado we often get Chinook (warm winds) after a snow that blow it away. Chinook supposedly means Snow Eater.

That's a surprise, I thought Chinook were Indians, and then I thought they were fish, and now it's a wind? I had to look it up and it is all three.
