Of course, I love the irony of this: the Republican National Convention held in a Democratic city, and the first day's events cancelled due to a tropical storm!
Isaac has achieved hurricane wind speed but he is far off the coast and moving ever so slowly. He was projected to be off the coast near Tampa by 2:00 pm but there is not a drop of rain to be seen. It will get here eventually. The skies are dark and the winds are barely beginning to pick up; just enough to rustle the trees. I'll let you know how it goes.
