Slow Start

The year is starting out slowly. I am updating group contacts in my contact lists. (New year = new officers = new contact lists.) I likely have about half of them done. Then, it is organizing files and folders. I don't keep everything from one year to the next because that is way too much chit on my computer. It is also time to transfer older files and images to CDs to get them off my storage drive, all time consuming and tedious tasks.

I should start a painting to work on when I need a break from the tedium. What to paint....?

Yes, He is a great subject! Can't wait for Rhys (the 3 mos. old) to begin to develop unique features. Yes, his face is unique already, but babies tend to look alike just a bit, especially if one is painting their portrait.

You've inspired me!! I'm going to get right on cleaning up my computer! Well, on second thought, maybe I'll just take a little nap today and do that tomorrow...or the next day....or....

Ever thinking of painting the one that I send you?

That one is intricate beyond belief! (Architecture, straight lines, lots of ornate embellishments worked into the stone.) I tried once but it was a disaster. I could only do that one if I cheated: use Photoshop to create the outline and transfer it to a canvas.

I've been working on organizing my computer files, too, and now it's time to get the tax info organized and printed out.

So glad the IRS told me to stop filing unless I earn more than XX amount due to the Paperwork Reduction Act.
