I am doing everything except what I should be doing! I have two newsletters to finish and don't feel like doing either, so I decided to paint/draw instead. I did a pastel of my dogs, Erin and Megan. Since I had no idea how it would turn out, I used orange paper. I have plenty of that because it is my least favorite pastel paper color. Megan's head should be smaller, but otherwise, it is definitely them! Erin has these huge, expressive eyes. The groomers, the vet, everyone comments on them. I likely did not make them big enough, but I did not want them to look unnatural. I painted more than is showing here but this is roughly what is exposed inside a 8"x10" matt. I think I will hang this somewhere- if I could just figure out where an orange/red background would not look garrish.!
