Last few days I've had PC problems. Whenever I tried to 'wake' my PC from the 'sleep' state, I would get a black screen. It refused to display, and then I would have to shut down and restart (with all of my programs still running! Ouch!) I researched it online and could never figure out if it was a Windows 7 issue or a bad graphics card. A graphic card issue suggested corrupted image/display, but my display was fine except for not being able to wake my pc, so I tried all of the Win7 fixes- to no avail.
Well, today I got a corrupted image displayed within Photoshop, so maybe it was the graphics card? Since I bought this card separate, I still had the original and reinstalled it. I don't know if that solved the problem. It works fine, but it has not gone to sleep yet. I'll have to see what happens....
Cross your fingers for me that this fixed the problem. I hate PC issues- especially since I am coming up on another deadline for a newsletter- the BIG one.
