Medard Park

Yesterday I drove to Medard Park. Medard Park offers camping, hiking canoeing, picnic shelters, playgrounds, walking trails and neat ancient tree roots to climb. It is also one of the county's major water reservoirs. I had no reason for going. Just wanted to get out of the house and shooting photos was as good an excuse as any. It is spring. The green is so vibrant that it is almost too green- but that was the perfect color given the date.

I have a ton of work to do and no energy to do it. When did I become lazy? I think I have become a sloth! (HMM... I remember noting my laziness once before and changing my avatar to a picture of a sloth.

You don't need to hear what I have to say.

No, absolutely not! You have enough energy for two and a half people, maybe three if one of them is as slothful as me.

We can't always feel energetic. The park was probably excellent medicine
for you. It is planting time!!

we cannot hide and ignore this. You got to keep moving and get things done.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself.Need to get out of this mood.
Good luck when you do.You have so much talent there.Used it or lose it.
Just scolding you.

I am trying to "dig myself out from under". One of the things I must do is reduce my Auxiliary activity so that I have time to paint and do other things.

The pictures really make the park appear beautiful! I could so see why you would find the space a peaceful distraction. I would have the same problem!

I always find it harder to buckle down with work when I have too much to do! I just want to hide and ignore it. I totally get your feelings!

The park is beautiful- and there was a BIG alligator in the lake! The couple with the dog in the side-cart was delightful to talk to.
