Another Holiday Greeting

Again, and as often as possible, I plan to extent holiday greetings this week. Why not? 'Tis the season... and I am learning to do new things with Photoshop so I might as well put them to good use.

I am almost caught up on reading posts. I still have redimpala's to read and a few more. I will do that as soon as I get home from the VA tomorrow. I am anxious to hear how Jeri's son is, and hopefully, I will have some news of my own.

I have a long awaited appointed at the "Urinary Dysfunction Clinic' tomorrow. I've had difficulties for over a year, but the lab work keeps coming back 'clean'. (Well, no infection, anyway.) Too bad I am not a man or I would guess it was prostrate related. (Do women have prostrate glands? I don't even know.)Oh well, enough of that. As my son would say, "TMI".

I have the urge to paint and got out a clean canvas. It is winter, so I want to paint a snow scene. No snow in Florida, so I have to get photos off the web. I do composites, that way I stay out of trouble with photographers who own the images. I am sketching it out tonight and will start painting tomorrow.
By the way, those are ornaments on my Christmas tree. I have some fabulous Victorian type beaded balls that I made years ago, but I did not hang those on the tree this year. First year in twenty five that they do not grace my tree. Maybe I will photograph them separately.

Thanks! I like ornaments that are very 'ornate' and with a feel of yesteryears.

They are beautiful and I am envying you the Victorian ornaments. I wish that
I were better with my hands. I could never ever sew and make it look
decent.

Mine are beaded by using sequin pins to attach the individual beads.

Love your beautiful photo composition! Christmas blessings to you, too! Safe travels to Virginia and good wishes for positive treatment.

Dottie, those photographs are so professional looking. There is more to it than clicking a shot of an ornament, the backgrounds are perfect. You could get cards made from any or all of these photos and sell them.

Thank you! I love to play with compositions. This is so much more fun than photographing "grip and grins".
