My 'Vistorian' Sequin Balls.

I made these more than twenty years ago. When I was working on them, I could never finish more than half a dozen a year because every bead, every sequin is attached with a single pin. Many have hundreds of pins in them. A lady in Fairfax, VA, taught me how to do these. I saw them on her tree and just fell in love with them.

Well, I went to the VA today and over the next month I will be scheduled for a CAT scan, a cystoscopy and a few other tests. I went through this a little over ten years ago. None of the tests are painful- just inconvenient.

I looked right away to see if Jeri posted anything about her son. Not yet. He and Jeri are in my prayers.

You can't take a bad picture can you? You could be creating your own line of Christmas cards.

They are beautiful indeed! Good luck on your tests.

They will not likely be scheduled until early January.
Some of these balls are prettier than others, and one or two are favorites.

wow! those are fantastic! Not sure if I have the talent to do those but they are so beautiful.

These don't take talent. They take patience. It takes hours to make a single one. Some I worked on days.

Yes, I have had them at least 25 years already. This is one of those things that I wonder what will happen to after I am gone.

I enjoyed making them. I have boxes of hand-made or hand-decorated ornaments.
