Don't you love waking up to -33c??

And it's funny how quickly you get used to very cold temperatures. Took both kids out cross country skiing, separately, and it was -20c, and it was just fine. Then, I headed out across the field across the street, by myself. It was lovely! Hopefully the snow will stay and I'll add skiing to my exercise routine.

I'm thinking of getting ice traction things that go over your shoes so I can run outside on snow & ice. I tried running on the treadmill at the gym today, and managed 20 minutes. It's just so boring, even with music and people watching and the TVs... some running is better than no running I guess.

We're still just dipping below freezing...but it's coming. It's definitely coming.

I'll be thinking about you running as I do my Yoga stretches. Good day to you

I've only done treadmill a couple time in my life (at motels). Hated it. It felt like the machine was making my legs move, not me. And boring is right! I'll never buy one. My stationary bike is bad enough. And thanks for sending down some of your cold temps.!

The treadmill was a great place for me to start, and will be
useful when it's too cold to run outside, but I don't
understand how some people can run on it for hours.
I'm going to try to get up to 30 minutes, but I think I'll need
something more exciting to listen to, I'll be giving audiobooks
a try again.
