All that snow we had this winter, plus warm weather makes for some interesting "puddles." About half the snow has melted in my yard so far, and I'm hoping the flooding doesn't get too bad when the rest melts. We do have a water pump, so DH can always pump the excess water into the ditch or over the hill were the water in the picture below is draining to.
My house is just out of the picture in the upper right. This is the first time in 14 years that the water went over the road. There is a culvert under the road, but it must still be frozen. The road is still driveable, and a county truck is out there as I type - can't tell what they are doing though.
I'm sick. I broke my rule of not eating off of kid's plates for a piece of cake... and now I'm paying for it. It's just a cold, but it's miserable being sick.
We got a new person at work, and she runs! She has even done half marathons, but keeps complaining about how slow she runs.
