I've been way too negative lately, so I need some good stuff to be more positive.
Good Stuff:
Cold seems to be getting better, slowly.
Bought a bunch of clothes for the kids at Value Village using 25% and 30% off coupons so they won't need clothes for awhile - and found 2 tops I can resell for 3x what I paid, and 1 top worth $50 that I got for $11 for myself (Lululemon).
Went shopping to Costco with my mom today and spent $160 of DH's money on stuff like juice boxes, crackers, glass food containers, and a HUGE jar of artichoke hearts! Love them with pasta and in sandwiches. Will have to make this a regular thing.
My mom bought the kids their own tablet laptop today (secondhand), and they are thrilled and are sharing it nicely.
Dropped one evening shift at work so I can spend a bit more fun time with kids (or escape to the garden!).
I've lost a few pounds being sick.
The boss likes my shelving manual that she asked me to do. Another co-worker has also read it and really complimented me on it.
It's warm enough to run comfortably outside!
Things are starting to green up, and the birds are back.
The cats are catching lots of mice!
Looking forward to race season - I'll probably sign up for a 10k run on July 10.
DS will be going on an overnight class trip to Head smashed in buffalo jump and Frank Slide in June, and I'm going to try to go with them if I can figure out what to do with DD! I've been both places, but they are both really cool and I'd like to go again.
When I lead the pony into the arena, and let go of her rope, she walks through the gate, then turns around, waits until I'm done with the gate so I can remove the rope, and then goes to eat her supper! I just think that's neat how she has learned to do that!
The kids are interested in practicing their running, and are doing pretty good.
I have 40 new "babies" under lights in the basement - basil, tomato, herbs, etc.
Yup, that feels better.
