Sins of Sebastian

Sins of Sebastian...

Now, this is why I "100%" believe the Bible. Sucks to be you right now, because I am in a "philosophical mode.. and your stuck reading my chit.. lol.

As "most" know... Sebastian is my 8 month son. Sebastian was born "sinless" (like us all).. But the Bible tells us "All men sin, and fall short of the Glory of God"..

Ok.. I am far more a "Believer" then I look....

Sin is basically defined as "Rebellion against God" (Biblically. But it goes deeper. It's rebellion against "God", but also rebellion about what you think is "right").

Now we ALL begin to SIN at some point. Sebastians began the day he realized he could "hide" some things from mom and dad. Now, he is not an "expert at rebellion" yet, but he sure tries. Sebastian will look at "ME",, see if I am looking away.. and go the same place I dragged him away from (gobs of times).. lol. Sebastian NOW, thinks about what he wants to do.. sums up the potential of trouble.. and still "Goes for it" (mostly when he thinks he won't be caught).. lol. Pretty much that's a "sin against mom and dad..".. lol

My point is not to say "Sebastian is a sinner". He's just a baby, doing what babies do. My point is.. we all begin this process. And once we realize what is actually "wrong or right", we follow or we don't. But we all SIN, we all rebel against something we knew was right, do wrong anyway.

I know I sin against God. I know everyone does. I try not too. Now, my thinking about what is "right and wrong" may differ from some (many). But morally, I am trying to do right. I studied the Bible 8 years "intense" to come to my opinions. And I came to mine, on my own.

So my thinking is this.. ALWAYS EXAMINE why you are doing what you do! Some things go far "deeper" then seems on the outside. Just, in your own heart.. make sure "what you do", is for a good reason... Sin is only SIN when your own heart convicts you...

Gary :)
