Getting Prepared

Has anyone heard from Bob since his eye surgery today? We have to get Pat on the computer!

I just spent a good two hours at the barn, getting the horses hunkered down for the bad wind and tornado weather this is headed this way in a couple of hours. Animals have a special sense when it comes to weather changes.... I let Miz and Slayer out in the pasture while I mucked stalls and gave them a scoop of fed, hay and fresh water. I had to bribe them to come back inside, they probably think they will be safer, out in the pasture, but they are more likely to get struck by lightening out there than inside the barn.

I'm about to go in the garage and make sure the generator has plenty of gas and also put the extent-ion cords close by.

Hope you guys have a good night and those to the West of us made it through the storms safe and sound. Looks like our friends Jondude and Jjoohnn might have gotten more snow today. Sorry guys~ stay warm.

Hope the storm wasn't too bad. I'm having a time getting around to people trying to comment on two posts; but I have some die-hards over on Blogster, so I go back and forth.

I sent him an e-mail and wrote in really big letters! I'm just thoughtful that way... I'm almost back to "normal". Scary, huh???

Hope you ride out the storm safely and hope your animal friends only face the very minimum in stress.

We had a earthquake in Nevada at a small town called Mogul. It is only about a mile from our house in Reno. Need to wander up there and check the house

No snow. Lots of rain tonight. Ice, sleet and snow on the way. I put my shovel away. Let it melt.

Good luck with the bad weather. We had some howling winds the other night but at least now our snow's almost melted off.
