Hey, I make a killer pizza with chicken, feta cheese and garlic!
Well, you've burst my bubble! For some reason, I've been reading a few blogs about economics, or at least written by economists, and finally starting to 'get' Keynes. Apparently I've been wasting my time. As for the economy improving, not in my neighborhood.
At least you were warm and didn't have to do the dishes... (It was in the 30s here.)
Officious is a good description for them. I had one once say with a sigh, "It's something new and different every day." She hated any change! I think it confused her and couldn't learn anything new - she wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box.
I had a similar experience with another customer service rep. She could't spell my name, after I gave it to her and then spelled it three times. K---a---r---e---n. "K" as in kill, "a" as in apple, "r" as in red, "e" as in elephant, "n" as in Nancy. I asked for a manager but was told he wasn't available or something so I said goodbye and hung up. I got an email from them asking about my experience and told them to give her a long class on speaking the English language and listening skills.
Someone called me almost immediately to help me with the original problem. Grrrr! Sorry about your cut - fingers do bleed a lot.
I'll take a collection to pay your bail if you get caught taking the puppy - but I know you're smart enough to not get caught. They probably wouldn't even notice if he was gone. Put up a photo or email it to another "Greaser" and have someone else put it up. He'd have a good home within a week. I almost did take my neighbor's dog one time - she was a new mama, locked in their garage, barking for hours. I was walking through the yard to check on her, the lady came out the back door to see what I was doing. I told her I was going to see if the dog needed water because I didn't think she was home... A few minutes later I watched her take food and water out to the little mama.
If you put your photos in your blogs, they don't show up in the Polaroid format. They are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Love your kitties - and you look GREAT!
You might want to rethink the teeth thing - I've had several pulled recently. Entirely my fault - I thought it was more important to pay for my health insurance than go to the dentist. Now I have a hard time chewing. Getting a bridge in January. I entirely agree about buying more stuff - I hate shopping anyway.
She lost a whole person! Very cool for her but what a horror to have such a huge infection. Is she home yet?
Thanks for the update Jeri. I've been wondering how she's doing and reluctant to call, but I will now.
Maybe the employees can buy the company after the bankruptcy is resolved. It ought to go for a song (or a Twinkie.)
Did you grow the persimmons? Never had persimmon pudding.
