I got to come home Sunday!!! Happy, happy, joy, joy!

I think the furry girls are happy to be here too. Mom's yard isn't fenced, so they have to go one at a time because they have to be tied up. Sigh. Of course that means they usually run around the tree, so the 25 foot long leash won't reach the door so I have to run out and have them run around the tree in the other direction. Gets a little chilly first thing in the a.m. when I'm still in my jammies...

Of course yesterday I had to take care of some business that I'd put on the back burner. Local IRS office to finish everything I had to do on one of her previous year's tax error. She only reported about 1/3 of her income...

That was amazingly easy and took a huge load off!

Then I had an appointment with a lawyer. I just had some general questions about what I'm supposed to be doing as her conservator and her guardian. Found out that I haven't made any huge mistakes but I have another mountain of paperwork to do...

I have to go back through her expenses for 2010 and report them to the court... The form only has about 10 lines so it says to put things in categories. Last year, I read the directions wrong and thought I had to file a different form. Sigh. At least I can do it from home while sitting on my own couch for a change.

One of the benefits of living at mom's for the past month - I've lost weight. I think I went down a whole size in jeans! Feels good!
