I've learned my lesson: Never walk around in the dark...
Last night, I turned the light off at the top of the stairs so I wouldn't wake my mother. I walked to the living room and turned so I could flip the switch that would turn on a lamp in that room. I didn't go far enough though.
Instead, I walked into the wall. Now I have three stitches in my eyebrow and some ugly bruises on my face. Ugh.
At least my glasses didn't break.
I won't be going on any dates this week - not a good way to make a good first impression. More about my online dating in another article.
but I shouldn't----luckily I have good night vision, usually any way----ouch bet it hurt
