Humorous Quotes to Begin Your Day

I go back to the classroom today for social studies and some interaction with the youth, the leaders of tomorrow. Sometimes, no many times, during our interaction, I fear that their ability to lead falls far below what is necessary. Perhaps, I am just getting too old and expect too much. I always set such high standards, and seeing the condition of the school that I had taught in for so very long decline is so disturbing. I have decided that this will be my last year of subbing.
I will check in with you tonight after I get home from the sweatshop!

Start off every day with a smile and get it over with. ~ W. C. Fields

• I've developed a new philosophy... I only dread one day at a time. ~ Charles Schultz

• The brain is a wonderful organ; it starts working the moment you get up in the morning, and does not stop until you get into the office.
~ Robert Frost

• All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure. ~Mark Twain

• I've got all the money I'll ever need, if I die by four o'clock.
~ Henny Youngman

Love the quotes!

The big picture of education's shortcomings are daunting, but with each teaching moment, you can and are making a difference. The goal of reaching a child and seeing the light come on in his or her eyes is a worthy one, and the reward, when it comes, must be so inspiring. Work and hope in the moment, Angie.
