I go back to the classroom today for social studies and some interaction with the youth, the leaders of tomorrow. Sometimes, no many times, during our interaction, I fear that their ability to lead falls far below what is necessary. Perhaps, I am just getting too old and expect too much. I always set such high standards, and seeing the condition of the school that I had taught in for so very long decline is so disturbing. I have decided that this will be my last year of subbing.
I will check in with you tonight after I get home from the sweatshop!
