Sleepless in Southern Illinois

What I wish that I could do!
and still awake. I called my friend yesterday who said that her grandbaby was up all night. I don't know if something came through the phone line or what, but I didn't sleep last night. I did the laundry, baked a cake, cooked a pork loin roast and worked on my Austrian post. Whew! I'm wearing down, and I have to teach social studies tomorrow. Oh, no!
I went to have my nails done this afternoon and drove home through the Cache. There were several logs, one on one side of the road and another on the other side. I bet there were 15 or more turtles lined up on each log.
I am going to read some posts, take my bath and retreat. Perhaps sleep will come eventually!

Oh, I'm looking forward to when the turtles resurface again here up north. Maybe soon... I know the baby ducks made their appearance around April 11th last year... I'm so looking forward to seeing the first cute clutch down at the path in the next couple of weeks.

I didn't sleep that well last night either, but I zonked out for an afternoon nap to make up for it. I hope you will just relax and get cozy and get a good sleep tonight. Have a great week!

Have a good sleep. I go back tomorrow, but that's okay. I sort of look forward to it. I hate the getting up at 5:30, but I like the kids, so there's a trade off.

Even though I DID sleep last night, I have been dragging around all day as if I hadn't - Maybe it's the weather -
