So the other day I was busy booking a hotel in Los Angeles and I started to think about the fact that I am going to be gone away from the man and kids for almost a full week and I was surprised by this deep pain in the pit of my stomach. I thought "Oh my God, I think I love these fools!", but then the phone rang and it was my six year old's principle. Magically the deep sorrow disappeared and I continued to book the hotel with sheer joy!

When I was a kid I never really understood those Calgon commercials where the women would yell out "CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!". Now I totally get it.

I do love my family, but I am thinking we need a little break and have a trial long distance relationship.
