We don't see this type of mushroom very often around here. They are poisonous.

So far the deer haven't bothered the vegetable garden. These two were here this morning early, the first time we've seen them. Isn't the one on the left regal looking?

Nice deer and what a pretty poisonous mushroom... but oh that map is revolting.

And we know that the rest of the public employees make good money, so that's saying a lot.

I am afraid of wild mushrooms too. with our wet weather we have had some
doozies. That map illustrates our present values~!

I was just reading about those teenagers in Oklahoma who killed an athlete because they were bored. It could happen anywhere, but be extra careful.

used to collect mushrooms years ago , but too many signs saying trespassers prosecuted on properties these days , with spring only a week or so away the season for them is on .
deer are farmed here , no wild ones at all

There were five more deer in the yard this morning. It's that time of year when we see more of them.

That map makes me physically ill. On the plus side, the photo of the two deer is wonderful.

One of my relatives sent me an email full of maps that illustrated a variety of things, this being one of them. Unfortunately, I couldn't forward it with the maps showing or I could have sent it to you via email.

Mushrooms are tricky. I don't harvest wild ones.....

I have a wild mushroom book specific to this area, but don't trust it because sometimes it'll say that a safe one resembles an unsafe one. There is one kind that the ground squirrels eat, so it might be safe for humans, but I don't risk trying that one, either.

Crazy--I can comment here but I can't post a blog--all I get is "URL not here" or something like that--maybe someone can get ahold of Eddie or the 'webmaster' and see what is going on.

That happens to me once in awhile, and it is a problem with my computer. I clear the cache and delete all the history and restart the computer, and that usually clears it up. Hope that works for you.
