Well, here are some other peoples' vacation photos.
Here's a familiar shot of the Grand Canyon, taken by a woman who works for the park service and I let her stay in my house when I'm out of town and she's in this area.

Imagine standing on the rim, breeze ruffling your hair, watching the cloud shadows move across the plateaus. When I'm imagining this, the outside temperature is about 72 degrees, not the 90 something it probably was when she took this picture.

This is the mule train bringing supplies to the Phantom Ranch in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I think cowboys are cute.

These next photos were taken by a Chevrolet salesman from a small town in eastern Illinois, practically in Indiana. The mountain sheep were camped out across the highway from my house.

They did a lot of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.

This is the downside of OP vacation photos: some of the scenery is obstructed by strangers.

Happy trails, Amigos!
