I love it when a photo truly does tell a story.

Especially the ones that make us think and we feel drawn to make up our own story.

It is fun to make up stories to go with them. My apologies to Rex but Cats
Rule and dogs drool.

Hope you are doing well up there, Bugg. I was so disappointed by the last storm, was hoping for some good moisture, and didn't get hardly any.

My favorite is the father and son, but animals are a close second. Great pix.

Yes, that father and son one is special. What a great idea, I love it when people think of doing that kind of thing.

The old WW II Russian veteran on the subway wearing all his Soviet medals while the other younger passengers seem to ignore him... Russia today is like that. The photo does tell so much.

I was touched by it, and I think of all his experiences, and then I think how his goal was to exterminate us, and our goal was to exterminate him, and now it doesn't matter any more, and there is no place for old soldiers. But he still has his dignity.

The two with the cats are so cute. And is that panda on a plane? In the emergency exit row?
comment by boots586 on Apr 15, 2012 5:55 PM ()
I do believe that is a panda on a plane. I keep looking at that picture, and it looks like he's sitting inside a plastic bag. Are they that placid? Maybe the idea is that if there was an emergency, everyone would want all the wild animals to evacuate first. The Denver TV station recently had a video of penguins walking through airport security because they were going to ride in the passenger cabin (in a carrier, I presume).

I think I'd look like that dachshund if that drooling mutt came anywhere near me.
comment by nittineedles on Apr 15, 2012 5:04 PM ()
Me too! Think of all that drool, a good reason to have a cat.

Really something to think about being that high up. I guess there are people who don't get dizzy up high, but I get dizzy just looking at pictures sometimes.
