Sky Writing

The other day there was an airplane trying to write messages in our sky.

They were pretty good with the heart shape, but the letters never did make much sense, looked like "TON" I kept waiting for a Y to make it "Love Tony" but there never was one.

I can't even remember when I last saw sky writing. Hope someone wasn't too
disappointed.

I had a hard time taking the pictures because the sun was in my eyes.

Ooooopsy! Hope somebody wasn't hoping for something special for someone special....

I can picture it - Tony or whomever trying to convince his sweetheart that it says "marry me."

Used to love watching skywriters while at the beach a lifetime ago. The first photo you have posted looks like the message is "not". Maybe he's a beginner. That heart looks dismal. See, that's how it should look.

I always think of sky writing as being in cursive, but I've never seen that 'live,' just in cartoons.

I think this guy needs more practice. If someone paid him to write a message, I think he deserves his money back.

That's what we were thinking, too.

I haven't seen a skywriter for years. We do have small planes that pull advertising signs. I saw one last week. Couldn't read it, though. The angle was wrong.

There is a little bit of sky messaging in the Las Vegas area, but not all that much. Sometimes there is a blimp with advertising flying over the Strip.

Hmmm. I don't get the message.

We watched and watched, and the only good thing was the heart.

We have a religious company here that once a week 'sends a message from G-D"

It might come out better in your high humidity climate, but I don't know enough about how it works.

Too windy. Wrong altitude?

Practicing, maybe. I wonder if there is navigator figuring turning the condensation on and off.
