Entrelac Scarf

I just finished this scarf using Brown Sheep yarn LanaLoft in a sport weight. It's a variegated yarn, so the lights and darks help accentuate the squares of the knitting pattern.

Entrelac is a method where an entire square is knit in one direction, then the work turns and a square is knit in another direction.

This particular scarf has a bouncy texture because what was supposed to be squares turned out to be rectangles because of the size of the yarn. The edges ripple and make for a ruffled look.

I found a dish cloth pattern in entrelac. Very exciting, I'll start tomorrow.

It is absolutely beautiful. The pattern is wonderful. I have always said you were a domestic Goddess.

One of my cousins thinks she really is a goddess, although I don't think the domestic kind. She went on a tour of Greece for goddesses.

I need to find an entralac hat pattern, knit on a circular needle for you.

I finally found some instructions for it that made sense to me and I'm going to go back and look at all those that didn't make sense to see if now they do.

I really like the effect of Entrelac. Love the color also; it looks rich and expensive. Nice job!

Thanks! I'm pleased with it, and now I want to do another entrelac project, have to start looking for a pattern.
