I saw the headline on the local TV news site:

"Amorous Moose Falls for Grand Lake Statue" and envisioned something like a school girl crush.

This is my expectation of the extent of it:

Just hangin' around with the statue.

But no! Warning! X-rated!

Look how built-up and fancy schmancy it is there - all lodge look and landscaping. That's on the other side of Trail Ridge from us.

The legs on the statue look like they'd work for an elk or even a large deer, but it has that hump so it must be a moose.

Poor guy. I've heard of turkeys who can't tell when their mate is nothing but a feather duster or something, but this is sad. He needs a girl.
