The Goosinator

Denver City Park has bought two of these remote-controlled Goosinators to chase away the Canadian geese that poop all over the grass and walkways.

Once the geese learn it will chase them, just parking it will keep them away.

The video is really funny - it races around like a crazed wolverine.

Perfect application for it. Then it'd be the Gullinator.

It reminds me of Mint that robo floor scrubber. Geese are so sweet. It
is a shame that everytime they quack they make a mess.

Our garage is permanently stained from Quackers last summer, even though we hosed it out every morning.

That's cool if it's for real. I'd like to see how it works and what keeps it upright.

It's real - the City of Denver just bought two of them - it was on the TV news there with a link to this video.

Does it ever 'catch' one?
comment by greatmartin on Dec 21, 2012 6:40 AM ()
It sure moves fast enough - maybe if it caught one napping.

HEY! What are they doing to our geese? (Actually, I think that's quite funny.)

It's the modern equivalent of the old west where the sheriff tells them to be gone by sundown. Hah!
