Hi group, We learned today from our pal Nadine, who lives down the street from us in Matlacha, that the power is back. We went into Cape Coral so that Sol could return the phone she bought to AT&T but decided against going to Matlacha as the day had worn on and the crowds trying to get there were daunting. So we bought sandwiches at Arby's and drove back to Punta Gorda. There is a ton of packing to do, and we can't get everything done in one trip. It will be hard on the kitties because they can't go outside as long as our pool cage is in the Gulf somewhere. And it will take some time before a new one can be built.
