Well, this morning I finally found out why I couldn’t find Tyler on the pool deck at night. One of our screen panels is almost totally ripped off and he was just jumping out – the world was his domain! The screen was in a corner and hard to see at night. I will henceforth always check the screens. Well, the deck is sealed off and I have a call in to a screen guy. Phew. What a scare.
The other new thing is that I can’t put the trash bin out the night before pickup. It seems that mass closing of restaurants has definitely had an impact on the food supply for rats and possums and raccoons so their scavenging has branched out. Our trash was invaded, scattered all over the road. Our lovely neighbors cleaned it up for us and told us about it. So now I have to be sure to get up early enough to put the trash out on Thursday morning.
It has been six days since the steroid injections into my upper back. Relief is slow but I see signs of improvement. The other issue is my anemia. Total fatigue. Waiting for callback from doctor. I have a new date with my cleaning lady. If she postpones again, I’ll talk to her about her husband sabotaging her because he’s needy. But since I can’t rely on her totally, I’ll have to do some laundry today. I’ll be staggering through it.
xx, Teal
