A Supplement That Works
For two months now I have been taking two capsules a morning of a supplement called Niagen offered by Life Cell Research. Look it up on Supplementpolice.com to get an overview of its benefits.
I felt a surge of energy and focus the same day. It also helps contain your appetite and one is less inclined to overeat.
I want Ed to take it but he is very cautious because he is on so many medications following his stent surgery. So I left a message for the physician’s assistant at his cardiologist’s office to see if they think there is any reason for him not to take it.
The product is fairly new. It hasn’t stood the test of time, but nobody is reporting any side effects and all who are on it are raving about it.
The claim is that it revitalizes your cells and actually makes them function at a younger level. It seems like it is doing exactly that for me. My skin and hair are also getting better.
Here is an excerpt from the Supplementpolice website:
As far as nutritional supplements go, Niagen was discovered very recently. Scientists just achieved this breakthrough in late 2013 during clinical research performed on mice.
That research, performed by Dr. David Sinclair of Harvard Medical School, showed that each mouse’s cell age decreased from 2 years to 6 months after being given molecules of Nicotinamide Riboside. In other words, mice that were 2 years old had the cells of 6 month old mice after being administered Nicotinamide Riboside.
So not only does Niagen reduce the effects of aging, it actually appears to turn back time and make the cells function like they did when they were younger.
TIME magazine actually named Dr. David Sinclair one of the Top 100 Most Influential People of 2014. So yeah, Niagen is considered a pretty big deal in the current medical community. A lot of people are calling it the closest we’ve ever come to reversing the effects of aging. (end excerpt)
Each bottle contains 60 capsules. The recommended dose is two capsules a day and that lasts a month. I bought mine on Amazon for $46.99 -- I don’t know if Amazon offers reduction for quantity, but Live Cell Research does – currently three different purchase options so I’ll order directly from Live Cell from now on (unless Amazon offers the same discounts).
— 1 Bottle: $46.99
— 2 Bottles: $83.64
— 3 Bottles: $117
If you try it, please let me know if it helps.
