I sent this letter today to The Fort Myers News Press ...

Dear Editors,

Your headline today (September 4, 2009), “Lee Kicks Obama Out of Class” was a classic example of why, if I could financially do it over again, NEVER move to any part of Florida, let alone Lee County.

This headline is a classic example of an utterly degraded moral, intellectual and political mind frame.

Furthermore, there are other ways to report this event than to give the impression that you are chuckling over it and proud of it, thus giving your tacit approval to those readers who need any excuse to trash a black President.

I am truly living in an intellectual and moral wasteland.
