How lovely to have family nearby, and you are apparently close knit without the neuroses that plagues so many families. Yeah, time is sneaky. EART]
The bit with the car is really awful. I was hit by a car about 2 years ago. Just grateful the driver felt the bump and didn't speed up. My back has been a problem ever since.
Cortisone injections worked for you? I have had them in both thumbs, and they only last barely a month, so I have stopped altogether and am trying different remedies. Good luck with your garden.
You gave Quackers to some friends and then you had the weather disaster. Did he survive?
Scaredy bear running from a little noise. Maybe you should leave him a little food and then he'll come around a lot.
Viet Nam was a tragedy and to make things worse, our veterans were not honored for their service. It's good you had a lovely outing.
Lovely. Is your client pleased?
Ah the monosyllables of conversation in a marriage.
I know the feeling. Cherish the memories. Sometimes when I walk, I have imaginary conversations with Jay. Sometimes I message him in Morse Code that he taught me,dit-dahing my thoughts. And I use 73 as the required part of a password that asks for some numbers. It means "best regards" for some reason in the language of radio amateurs.
Really great photos. Your booth looks amazing. Good luck with the season. I don't see the spinning wheel in the photo. You look adorable.
I haven't read any Margaret Atwood, but I did just discover Dick Francis, who writes crime stories with horse racing as a backdrop (he was a steeplechase jockey in his young life). Super mysteries. Interesting to note that his editor, Joan Kahn, was at Harper & Row while I was there too. Too bad I never met him. I should have leaned on her for an introduction. Hindsight.
Stunning. The Shadows are incredible.
I never signed up for classmates but got a couple of freebie inquiries. Thing is, at my age, most everyone from those days is gone. So problem solved. Is that a good thing?
And you left Mexico because where you were was dangerous. Never home free, it seems. I hope police can make some headway soon.
He has excellent comic timing. I'm going to miss him on many levels, not the least of which is his personality. .
