Ed and I recently did our wills. That's as far as I am willing to entertain preparing for da end. I don't have immediate family. I love my cousins, however, and we talk, but I haven't seen them in 36 years. Everyone wants my deep blue sea glass earrings.
We are getting plenty of rain here. Our new hire, Remi, has cut all of our hedges down to bare bones. I mean everything is sticks. It all looks awful, but it will come back lovely. Funny how annoyed Ed was when our bougainvillea bush was cut "too low" by our last hire, a woman. Do you think gender has something to do with it? He totally trusts Remi.
I am thrilled and awed by the Manafort flip. Fingers crossed.
This is just one event. Even though June is the official start of the hurricane season, Florida is most threated in ate August through October, so as far as I'm concerned, we ain't out of the woods this year.
I deleted my former bookmark. Then when I clicked on a post in an e mail, I went to my blog from there and I bookmarked that. So now I can get on with the new bookmark.
It's disappointing when your feet give out before you're ready. We dont get fall "air" here. EVen when we have a cold snap, it doesn't smell the same. I miss New York fall weather, crisp and sunny. We're in rainy/hurricane season now. I don't know whether to be worried.
I once deleted the content of a piece, leaving a blank page, where I mentioned a friend who wanted to be unknown. I think the current system is okay. The only thing I have been disappointed about is that photos from old posts are deleted, which I discovered when I wanted to revisit one. Incidentally, I thought it was already possible to edit a post at any time. Again, thanks for all your efforts to keep us going. xx, Teal
All kitties/cats/felines welcome. Meow. Purr.
Please consider hiring a professional pest removal company for your rat problem. When we had possums in our attic, they got them out and relocated them (a no kill solution). Sorry you are having trouble with direct access to this site. Hope that gets solved soon.
I Google essential oil remedies all the time. Their use has saved me a lot of pain, so I wouldn't mind knowing more.
We've lost touch. You have gone through so much. Where and how are you now? We have switched sites because the Greasy name was sold. But Eddie transferred all our blogs to this one. You should get a notice in your e mail that I have commented here. If you do, please get back on line and tell us what has happened to you.
I was out of town during the switch. On returning, I was able to get on immediately and have had no problems. Don't go away. The site might have had some start-up issues, but it seems to be okay now.
I'm very grateful that Eddie could solve the host problem and allow us to maintain the blogging community we have all come to rely on. And it was seamless, no technical glitches -- all there -- just a name change at the top. Truly remarkable.
Adorable kid, dandy outfit. Good goin' Dad.
Jeri, is "underlined" a part of the title of the blog? Or when you want to find it, do you have to underline the whole phrase "Myblogger.com"??
one horrendous night in New York at my loft, Jay infirm, me tending to everything. and I found a huge rat, not perky, so I picked him up with a shovel and threw him out of one of our rear windows onto a parking lot and he landed on the roof of a white luxury car. Yes, I would have liked to see the expression on the face of the owner of the car when he found the rat. It was an old loft, probably built in the early 1900s, had lots of unfound breaches in the walls. Was once, I was told, a stables. Them was da days.
that would be perfect -- let us know how to proceed --- would we be starting from scratch?
