Froggy's Gone a Courtin'

John McCain has come to Mississippi to woo voters. First he appeared at the Meridian air show, at an airport named after his father. Then he attended a $1,000 a plate dinner, and met with the Madison County Republican Women.
I don't understand how Mississippi became so infested with Republicans in the first place. This used to be a state of Democrats. But now we have a Republican governor, Haley Barbour. Maybe one day the pendulum will swing back to where it oughta be, and our state will be Democratic again.
Speaking of things kind of presidential, Oliver Stone, famous Hollywood director is making a film about GW Bush. Stone has said the film, which will focus on the life and presidency of Bush, won't be an anti Bush polemic, but as he told Daily Variety "a fair true portrait of the man. How did Bush go from being an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?"  Oliver, you scamp!

Can't wait to see that movie. I read he plans to finish it before election day — that will help the Democrats!!

McCain was in Las Vegas last Friday for a private fundraiser lunch, starting at $1000 a plate, hitting up his casino owning buddies. What did I read - something like if Hillary doesn't get the nomination a lot of her supporters are going to vote for McCain, or the other way - if Obama doesn't get the nomination a bunch of his will vote for McCain. Either way, shows me the election is about sex, race and personality, not what might be best for the citizens.

I hope all those arseholes who switched in my state and yours are satisfied with the mess our country is in because they decided the Democrats were too liberal.

I read this post and will skip the "for women only" one.
Already, I can't stomach McCain. He's another "holier than thou" person. Sometimes he acts so quiet and humble (sickening), then decides to be loud and forceful (obnoxious). If Americans make yet again another error in judgment, I'm moving to Greece.

Yuk. I am so sick of him, I don't even want to see it. Oklahoma usually goes Republican too. I think they fell in love with Ronald Reagan and took it from there.

His family bailed him out of every misstep. I truly think they were sitting around the living room one day trying to figure out what to do about "the kid" and Barbara Bush said, "I know, let's run him for president." The rest is history. I would like to smack her one. I don't know why Oliver Stone is bothering. Seems to me like doing the bio of a flea.
