Last weekend I baked an acorn squash, then made half of it into candied squash (brown sugar, cinnamon, etc.) and planned to make "pumpkin" bread out of the rest. Finally did that today. It was funny though, during the mixing, I discovered that because of our recent cooking, including Dolly and me having eggs for breakfast, I had to wait a few minutes for the chickens to provide the second egg needed for the bread.
