Steeve's Bread Pudding

Steeve’s
Bread Pudding

This is easy, quick, and delicious:

Bread, stale or otherwise

Milk

2 eggs, lightly beaten

½ cup sugar

3 tbsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tbsp vanilla

1 can pie filling

Fill large mixing bowl with crumbled up bread of
your choice.  I usually use a large
package of dinner rolls, but any bread will do.  Pour in sufficient milk to soak bread completely.  Mix in eggs and all other ingredients.  Pie filling is your choice.  I’ve used cherry, peach, apple, lemon, key
lime, blueberry, you name it.  Pour into
large Pyrex baking container and bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.  Good warm or cold, preferably with whipped
cream on top.

[I took a photo but mybloggers rejected it. Perhaps it was the nude beside the bowl...]

It sounds good but I am struggling to lose some pounds I gained while off my exercise pace. I won't be trying this for a while.

An easy quick dessert recipe is always nice to have on hand. This sounds
good.

As good as it is still warm, I like it even better cold.

I tried bread pudding once. Tasted like soggy, spiced bread.
