After watching just two episodes, I'm hooked on CBS's "Undercover Boss".
In last night's show, the CEO of Roto-Rooter went "undercover" to spend time as a regular guy with five or six employees of the company. He went with them on their routes dealing with some pretty yucky situations!
He came away astounded and impressed at the hard work and dedication his workers exhibited. Many of them had "hard luck" stories to share--alcohol and drug recovery, raising an austistic child, coaching basketball every evening, etc.
The show is very heart warming and sincere--and quite emotional, for both the CEO and the employees. And me!
Twice now, I haven't been able to stop the tears and lump in my throat. I'm eager to watch summer reruns on the episodes I missed because I thought the show would be hokey. Try it.
