Last post for awhile.
I'm headed out West to Wyoming's Medicine Bow Mts. southwest of Laramie. It's another Wilderness Volunteers adventure, camping under the stars (hopefully).
We're scheduled to do trail maintenance mostly, which I like doing.
The trip officially begins Sunday afternoon, the 16th, and ends Sat. the 22nd. I'm leaving (driving) on the 13th, staying off the interstates and stopping at various parks, museums and towns along the way. I'll cross Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and in to Colorado before winding up at my destination.
I also plan to stay overnight at Mr. and Mrs. Troutbend's (Laura) outside Estes Park CO. Yes, they know I'm coming. I've been there before. What a neat thing to have blogging friends willing to meet and greet you.
I'm really looking forward to getting away. I need a vacation from garden, golf and firewood, not to mention my father and daughter's chores I've been working at. It's difficult for me to be idle for very long, so this working vacation is just the ticket.
See you all later. Be well and take care.
