Don't you hate it when as soon as you put something away, you need it?
I finally put away all my winter clothes, but need them today as it's cold and rainy.
I also moved my stationary bike and boxing bag out of the way thinking I would be doing all my exercising outdoors now that June is here. Wrong.
And wouldn't you know that as soon as I bought a new sump pump, my basement would dry up? That is, until I "dry-docked" the sump pump for the summer. Then we get
three inches of rain overnight, flooding my basement!
I had even watered my garden the day of all that rain. A thunderstorm sat over our area and dumped on us. 10 miles south of me never got a drop!
And one more gripe to get out of my system. Wouldn't you think that in running a 7 mile loop in every direction, the wind should be at your back at least twice? Nope. Every time I turned the corner, the wind shifted to be against me. I would stop and toss some grass to see if it was my imagination. Maddening, I tell you. Not to mention the three dogs that rushed at me while the man on the lawn mower was oblivious. Believe me, I was scared. He finally saw us in a face off--me with my hands in the air like I was being robbed. "They won't hurt you." Yeah, right.
I just thought of one more "don't you just hate it when...".
Wouldn't you know that just when you loan your kid $2000, you have that exact amount you need for dental work? Three crowns--gold, of course--were cemented in place last week. They cashed the check before I had a chance to move some money into my checking account. OVERDRAWN! With everything done electronically anymore, you have to be on your toes.
Have a nice day!
