Conservatism is alive and well in Indiana. All male Wabash College (in Crawfordsville) hosted former Bush adviser Karl Rove in a "slam-fest" on President Obama and his policies, especially health care reform.
According to the newspaper, he was warmly greeted. There was but one lone protester, a college senior, holding a sign that said "ROVE YOU ARE A TRAITOR!" At least he got his picture in the paper.
More evidence that conservatism is alive and well in the Hoosier state is that 14 Republicans are running for retired Congressman Steve Buyer's (R) seat in the May primary. Challenging, are only 3 Democrats. I reckon they know it's a lost cause--money down a rat hole. What a shame.
